Xiaowen showed her work on the effects of different acoustic conditions on auditory nerve synapses, at the Midwinter Meeting of the Association for Research in Otolaryngology in San Diego. She got great feedback from visitors to the poster.
Xiaowen showed a poster about her work at the Society for Neuroscience meeting in Washington, DC. Lots of people came to the poster, and we hope they enjoyed it!
Soham Chanda, currently a postdoc with Tom Südhof and Marius Wernig at Stanford, came to visit. He met with current graduate students in the department to talk about the postdoc life, and also to talk about his current work focussing on neuroligins. It was great to see you, Soham!
