Xiaowen's paper was accepted today by the Journal of Neuroscience. The paper is about changes in calcium influx at endbulbs following changes in acoustic conditions. Nicole pitched in to show changes in the contributions of different Ca channels to the EPSC. The culmination of a lot of hard work! Congratulations!
Austin presented his work on serial blockface electron microscopy at the department's Honors symposium. Austin did a great job, despite the interference of coronavirus. Way to go, Austin!
Nicole was honored to receive the Graduate Student Excellence in Teaching Award, for her work as a TA in Cell Biology, and also for her mentoring of undergraduates in research, in and out of the lab. Way to go Nicole!
